SplitWize works out who owes whom after a shared meal, a trip or a month of flat
expenses — and tells you the smallest number of payments that settles everyone up.
Photograph the bill or type it in, tick off who had what, record who actually paid,
and SplitWize does the arithmetic. No sign-up, and the splitting itself works with
no internet connection.
SCAN THE BILL
Point your camera at the receipt and the items, prices, tax, service charge and
discount are read off it for you. Printed or handwritten, English or Nepali,
including Devanagari numerals.
Every scan lands on a review screen first. Each line is editable, a line whose own
arithmetic does not add up is flagged in red, and you are told when the items and
charges do not match the printed total. Nothing is saved until you confirm it — the
scan is a head start, not a guess you have to trust.
You can pick a photo from your gallery instead, and you can always add lines by hand.
HOW IT WORKS
• Create a group and add the people in it
• Scan each bill, or add it by hand — restaurant, drinks, taxi, hotel, groceries
• Tick who had what, or split the bill evenly
• Say who paid, and see exactly who owes whom
SPLIT IT HOWEVER YOU ACTUALLY SPLIT IT
• Evenly between everyone
• By item, so people pay for what they had
• Shared items split between two, three or the whole table
• By percentage
• Or type each person's amount yourself
Tax, service charge, tip and discounts follow the items they belong to, so nobody
pays a share of a dish they never ordered.
BIRTHDAY AND SPECIAL DAYS
Somebody's birthday, a leaving do, a thank you. Mark one person or several as not
paying, and their share is spread evenly between everyone else. The totals still
add up to the exact bill — to the last paisa or cent.
WHEN SOMEONE IS SHORT OF CASH
One bill can be paid by several people in different amounts. If one friend covers
8,000 and another puts in 2,000, enter it exactly like that. Whoever could not
chip in still owes their share, and the settlement collects it.
THE SETTLEMENT
Splitkit nets what everyone paid against what they owe, then reduces the result to
the fewest possible transfers. Instead of six people paying each other back one by
one, you get two or three payments that square up the whole group.
Tick each payment off as it happens. If you add another bill later, anything no
longer square reopens instead of quietly hiding a balance.
BUILT FOR MANY BILLS, NOT ONE
A group holds as many bills as you need. One weekend away can have the hotel,
three restaurants, a taxi and the groceries — each with its own payer and its own
way of splitting — and you still get one clear answer at the end.

YOUR BILLS STAY ON YOUR DEVICE
• No account and no sign-up
• Your groups, bills and balances are saved only on your phone
• Splitting, assigning and settling all work with no connection
• Scanning is the one feature that needs the internet: the photo is sent to Google's
Gemini to be read, and is not kept afterwards
Share a summary through WhatsApp, Messenger, Messages or email whenever you want —
as plain text you can read before you send it.
