About this game

The elections are over! Congratulations to you, the new mayor! However, winning the election is only the first step in your success story. The residents of Mayority have different interests and ideas for a perfect city. Your task is to balance the different needs in your decisions to ensure a happy coexistence among all residents. Are you up to the task? Give it a try!

Mayority is based on the Council of Europe’s “Reference Framework of Competences for Democratic Culture” (RFCDC) and a fun way to understand basic democratic values in the classroom.

It can be played in German and English and is a playful way for 10 to 15-year-olds to understand and appreciate democratic values and how to live together peacefully.

Mayority was awarded the Comenius EduMedia Seal, the “German Children's Software Award” for the best app and was a finalist at the “Innovation in Politics Awards” 2024 in Barcelona.
