ChintuBot is the companion app for Chintu — the tiny desk robot with a face, moods, and opinions about your water intake.

⚠️ This app requires a Chintu device. It's the remote control for your desk buddy — it doesn't do much without one!

🔗 Effortless setup
Open the app, and your Chintu appears. Pairing is secured with a one-time code shown right on Chintu's screen — so only you can control your buddy. Send your WiFi details in seconds, no fiddly hotspots or captive portals.

🕐 Always on time
Every time you connect, ChintuBot quietly sets your Chintu's clock from your phone. Its clock mode just works — even with no WiFi at all.

💧 Water reminders, your way
Pick how often Chintu should remind you to drink — from every 15 minutes to every 2 hours — with a friendly chime and animation on the device.

🌙 Quiet hours
Chintu sleeps when you do. Set a nightly window and it won't make a sound or nag you until morning.

✨ Make it yours
Give your Chintu a name — it shows up on its screen and in the app. Toggle sounds, switch Social Mode on so two Chintus can become friends, and check the high score it's daring you to beat in Chintu Bounce.

👋 Say hi!
One tap and your Chintu chirps and flashes love-heart eyes. Useful for telling your Chintus apart. Mostly just delightful.

🤖 More than one Chintu?
The app remembers every Chintu you've met. Reconnect to any of them with one tap — perfect for desks, households, and Chintu friendships.

🔄 Always improving
Check for firmware updates from the app and watch your Chintu install them itself — new tricks arrive over the air, safely verified before they run.

🔒 Private by design
No account. No sign-up. No cloud. ChintuBot talks to your Chintu directly over Bluetooth, and your WiFi details go straight to the device — nowhere else.

Permissions: ChintuBot uses Bluetooth to find and connect to your Chintu. On Android 11 and older, the system requires location permission for Bluetooth scanning — ChintuBot never uses or stores your location.
