The Crew Management System (CMS) is a utility application designed for operational administrators and dispatchers to manage daily staff rosters, track leave status, and coordinate shift assignments. The application replaces paper ledgers with a digital interface to track staff availability based on specific route competencies and mandatory rest periods.

Key Features:

Staff Directory & Management: Add, edit, and update staff profiles. Administrators can toggle individual staff status between "Active" and "On Leave." Staff marked as on leave are hidden from the active dispatch pool.

Route & Zone Assignment: Create and manage operational routes. Administrators can assign up to three specific routes or zones to individual staff members to ensure correct task delegation.

Shift Dispatch Dashboard: View a dynamically filtered list of staff members. The dashboard only displays personnel who are currently available, not on leave, and assigned to the selected route.

Rest Period Calculation: Upon signing a staff member off from a shift, the application automatically applies a mandatory 16-hour rest period to their profile. Staff members on their rest period are temporarily removed from the available dispatch pool until the exact timestamp has passed.

Administrative Overrides: Authorized administrators can manually edit availability timestamps using a built-in date and time picker to correct data entry errors or make necessary scheduling adjustments.

Offline Functionality: The application supports local data caching. Users can view rosters, filter available staff, and interact with the application during temporary network outages. Data synchronizes automatically once the internet connection is restored.
