About this app

Transfer files offline between mobile devices with GapRelay. Share files and messages without an account or cloud service using animated QR or a compatible nearby connection.

OFFLINE FILE TRANSFER
• Send files as resilient animated QR frames with error recovery.
• Share files locally through Nearby when both devices support a compatible direct connection.
• Record QR Video on one device and decode the file later on another.
• Animated QR file transfer works between supported iOS and Android devices running GapRelay.

QR & BARCODE SCANNER
• Use the QR code scanner and barcode scanner in Code Studio to create, scan and inspect QR, Aztec, Data Matrix and other barcodes.
• GapRelay only shows Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and QR sharing routes when both devices support them.

MORSE CODE TRANSLATOR AND SIGNAL TOOLS
• Translate, encode and decode Morse code with light, sound and touch.
• Generate and inspect Sonic, SSTV and DTMF signals.

NFC TAG READER AND WRITER

HONEST LIMITS
Hardware and Android support vary by device. GapRelay shows available routes and offers fallbacks where practical. QR Video reception is free; some creation and security tools require Pro. The free version may show ads only on eligible non-sensitive screens. Purchases stay with the Google Play account used to buy them.

Core transfers can work without Internet. Files are processed on your device.
