About this app

Gareeda is a transport booking service for Erbil and the Kurdistan Region. Book the ride you take every week to school, university or work, or a one-off trip for the whole group, and know who is driving, where they are, and what it costs.

MONTHLY BOOKINGS
Arrange a journey you make every week once. Set your pickup and drop-off, choose the days, and pick your arrival and finish times. Gareeda quotes the full monthly price up front, before you commit to anything.

PICNIC AND GROUP TRIPS
Going somewhere for the day? Book a one-off trip for adults and children together, pick the date and the place, and add a note for the driver.

FOR STUDENTS AND STAFF
The same journey to campus or the office, arranged once and running all term. Private if you want the car to yourself, shared if you would rather split the cost.

FOR PARENTS
Add each child once, with their school and grade. Book for one child or several on the same trip, each with their own pickup point. You are told when your child is collected and when they arrive.

SHARE A RIDE
Every booking has a short code. Send it to someone else and they can ask to join your route, subject to your approval. Nobody joins a trip without the owner agreeing.

FOLLOW THE TRIP
Watch the car on the map while it is on the road. Message your driver in the app when you need to. Report or block anyone, at any time.

CHOOSE YOUR DRIVER
Ask for a male or female driver. Every driver is checked and approved by our team before they carry anyone.

CLEAR PRICING
See the full cost before you book. Pay the driver in cash, or online with FIB. Fares are for real journeys, taken outside the app.

THREE LANGUAGES
Kurdish, Arabic and English, each laid out properly for the way it reads.
