About this app

CameraClick connects your Garmin smartwatch with your Android phone to create a seamless remote camera experience. Whether you're capturing group shots, solo adventures, or recording video from a distance, CameraClick gives you wireless control right from your wrist.

📷 Uses Your Phone’s Native Camera App

CameraClick works with your existing camera app—not a custom viewer. It triggers the same camera you already use, preserving your preferred quality settings, lens choice, and storage path.

Using Android’s AccessibilityService, it interacts directly with the camera shutter button, making it compatible with a wide range of camera apps across devices. You keep full control over how your photos and videos are captured.

📲 Requirements

  • Garmin Connect IQ-enabled watch

  • Accessibility permissions

🛠️ Built for Creators, Athletes, and Everyday Humans

Whether you're filming your workout, capturing nature, or simply want to take a photo without reaching for your phone, CameraClick makes remote shooting easy and reliable.

CameraClick has been tested and works well on devices from:

  • Google

  • Samsung

  • Motorola

The app works on my Google Pixel 9 Pro. It's a single function app that only clicks the shutter. I was able to get it to work with my video recording by selecting "System Status" from the vertical menu in the upper rignt of the mobile app and selecting "Switch Access". In the mobile setting app that opened, I chose "Bluetooth switch", paired it with my Garmin watch, chose "One switch", then Linear scanning". There is no switch to assign, and I set the scanning speed to "Fast".

Hi, sorry your refund request was missed. Google processes refunds within 48h in your Order History; past that, email me your order info and I'll handle it. CameraClick uses standard Android Accessibility permissions only to trigger the shutter from your watch, it collects no personal data. The warning is standard for these permissions. -Caleb

It doesn't work on my xiaomi mi 13T. I wear a Garmin Forerunner 165. I want to do a refund since it's not working for my phone and the refund is rejected. Thank you.
