The Smart Patrolling App (Gasti Application) is an innovative digital platform developed to modernize the process of forest patrol monitoring and documentation in Nepal’s forest administration system.

The traditional approach to managing Gasti (patrolling) sessions relied on paper-based logbooks, standalone devices, and manual workflows that were often slow, error-prone, and vulnerable to data loss or manipulation. This project addresses these challenges by introducing a secure, scalable, and interactive web-based solution that digitizes the end-to-end lifecycle of a patrolling session — from initiation to final approval.
