About this app

This calculator was designed by the Cake Design School of Paris.
It allows you to calculate the number of servings of your wedding cakes, the quantities of ingredients, calories... All sizes are possible, nothing is predefined!
You will visualize your creation via a 3D preview. You can choose the colors and textures of each tier, decorate them and define the composition of your cake!
The application will offer you cutting plans for your floors of all possible sizes. You can print a full size plan.
You can also manage your recipes and calculate the quantities of ingredients, cost, weight and calories of your cake.
You can also make conversions in all useful units in baking (cup, oz, lb, kg, °F, ...).
Everything is calculated in real time, nothing is predefined, you do what you want!

This app does not display any ads but requires a subscription for PRO features. You can test it 3 days for free.

The features are as follows:
- Choice of the shape of each tier among 19 possible shapes (text, round, square, cone, star, heart, flower, pyramid, ...).
- Ability to add pillars (number and size configurable).
- Choice of the size of the servings (classic, generous or personalized).
- Select the type of cake (traditional or dessert).
- Real-time calculation of the number of parts and the quantity of sugar paste required.
- Choose the composition of your cake (number of layers, thickness of cream, colors and recipes).
- 3D preview of the outside and inside of your cake.
- Display of the cutting plan of the tiers of your cake. All sizes are possible because the plans are calculated in real time by our powerful algorithm.
- Expert mode: place your tiers as you wish (by specifying the coordinates of each tier).
- Choose the color of the tiers and the tray.
- Ability to choose a predefined or custom texture for each tier.
- Decorate your cakes with our decorations or your own images.
- Define if a tier is dummy, naked or rainbow
- Define your ingredients and recipes (biscuits, fillings and smoothing ganaches), the application will calculate the quantities of ingredients, the cost, the weight and the calories of your cake.
- Export of your project, recipes, ingredients and cutting plan in PDF format (A4, A3 or Letter format).
- Print your cutting plans at real size, you just have to glue sheets between them.
- Save your cake projects to review later.
- Automatic creation of a cake according to a number of servings.

Ratings and reviews

Too bad the software requires recurring subscription fees and offers no possibility to purchase it once and for all. The textures and generated images need improvement, in order for the cakes to look more realistic. There is potential here and with a couple enhancements, the app might become useful, but not when getting milked for it ad infinitum. If one day the publisher adds an option to buy the app instead of renting it, I'll give it another shot, but until then, it is being uninstalled.

Very lovely design but way too complex for a simple design. If you have your own business, this is for you. If you just want to design a simple birthday cake not so much. Large focus on structural design than topping. I just want to play around with frosting and piping ideas without getting everything out. Costs a subscription but it's little less than 2$ a month or 18 a year (aud), which is pretty reasonable for its functionality.

This would be an awesome app, but there are literally zero function features available unless you subscribe and pay. I wouldn't pay for something if I cannot see how it's basic functions work, regardless of week trial. Downloaded and using a competitor app.
