About this app

GatherUp helps you discover small-group meetups in your city — and actually show up.

Tired of "let's grab coffee soon"? GatherUp turns "soon" into a real time, place, and small group of people who actually want to be there.

WHAT YOU'LL FIND
• Coffee meetups, padel games, board-game nights, dinners, book clubs, weekend hikes
• Hosted by real people in your city — not bots, not crowds
• Capped at small group sizes so conversations actually happen

HOW IT WORKS
1. Browse what's on this week — by interest, by neighborhood, or just open Surprise Me.
2. Tap "Book" on anything that looks fun.
3. The event chat unlocks 24 hours before — coordinate, ask the host questions, plan the meet.
4. Show up. Meet your people. Reflect after.

PRIVACY THAT MAKES SENSE
• Before the event, attendees see each other under friendly aliases — not your real name
• Identities reveal only after the event ends, only to people who showed up
• Block, report, mute — all one tap

NO PRESSURE, NO BOTS
Small groups, real hosts, in-person only. No swiping, no DMs from strangers, no follower counts.

Built in Cairo for Cairo. More cities coming.
