About this app

Measure what your car actually does — with the phone already in your pocket.

Gauger uses your phone's GNSS and motion sensors to time acceleration and rolling
starts. No imported GPS box, no customs, no extra hardware.

MEASURE
• Acceleration — 0-60 / 0-100, the quarter mile, and timers you choose yourself
• Rolling — an A-to-B interval from a moving start (e.g. 60-130)
• Your own targets — any speed interval or distance

HANDS OFF WHILE DRIVING
You arm the run while stopped. The launch, the intermediate targets and the finish are
detected automatically, with audio cues. Your eyes stay on the road.

HONEST NUMBERS
Speed comes from GNSS Doppler, fused with the motion sensors. The conditions measured —
signal quality, the road's grade — are shown alongside the time, because a time means
nothing until you know the conditions it was set in. We never inflate a result.

REPLAY AND SHARE
Watch your run play back on the gauge. Turn a time into a shareable card in one tap —
free.

YOUR GARAGE
Add your cars — make, model, engine and model year, chosen from a list, never typed. Every
run records the car that set it, and the car travels with the time onto the board and onto
the card you share.

LEADERBOARD AND PROFILE
Send a standard run to the board and see where you stand. Tap a rank to see what backs
it: the interval, the grade, the signal quality. Your profile is your public card.

HEAD TO HEAD
Tap any time on the board and watch it race yours. Two cars on one road, each driven from
the run its driver actually recorded, with the gap between them live as it opens — ending
on a result card that puts both times and both curves side by side.

FREE, AND FAIR
Every measurement type and every headline result is free — nothing is crippled, and
measuring is never capped. The free tier caps how many verified runs you save to the
cloud each day and how many head-to-head races you watch. Premium lifts both caps,
replays any of your runs, unlocks the raw telemetry graph (the real acceleration channel
under the speed curve, peak g, road grade) plus the detailed split-by-split analysis, and
customizes your profile card. One quiet subscription, no dark patterns.

SAFETY
Gauger measures. It does not guide your driving and does not encourage speeding. Use it
only where it is legal and safe — a closed road, a track, or wherever the rules allow.
Speeding on public roads is illegal and dangerous. The road is your responsibility.

PRIVACY
Your location never leaves your device. Only the run's speed-vs-time curve and its derived
results are uploaded — your coordinates are never sent, and never stored.

What’s new

• The race screen runs far more smoothly, with newly rendered cars, and follows the light theme.
• When a run cannot be set up, the screen now says why, and what to change if location permission is missing.
• The accent colour is no longer limited to the presets: pick any shade in Settings.
• Premium: set your profile card's colour with the same picker, and pick one of five cars for the race.
• Loading your garage, restoring a subscription and hitting a limit each say what happened.
