Six Card Cribbage is a two-player game of skill that uses a standard 52 card pack. The goal is to be the first to score 121 points over several deals. Points are scored for card combinations that occur during the play or in a player's hand or in the crib -- the cards discarded before the play.

Five Card Cribbage variation is an older traditional version that is still popular in England. 5 card Cribbage differs from the more modern 6 card cribbage by the number of cards in hand (initially 5) and by the score to play - usually it is played to 61 points.

Paul Rice of Wells, ME who plays in US national cribbage tournaments says that in cribbage "75 percent or more" depends on the skill of the player. Per Paul Rice: "in cribbage, every card you play and every card your opponent plays, you're trying to throw a curve ball in there"... "you can be dealt a gosh-awful hand and if you play it right, you can advance up the board."

The mechanics for this game are awesome - allowing the use of showing statistics is something I haven't seen in any other cribbage game out there. The ability to choose deck design and playing field can make each session unique. One thing that would make this perfect? If a player quits in the middle of the game, give the other player the win. It seems that some quit so as to not tarnish their win/lose ratio, and that's frustrating. If you've come to play, play until the end!

They decreased the timeout from too short to massively, ridiculously unreasonable. It's not possible to take an (agreed) bathroom break without the game timing out, and even worse, allotting points unfairly. In fact, you can't even take a critical but very short phone call without this BS timeout kicking in. Then there's the fact that if you temporarily lose the network it just hands the game to the other player. NOT COOL! Edit: Now I can't even log in... 🤷‍♂️

Game is setup to give people with a higher score better cards. We tested the game between four different players and there is no doubt the game has been programmed to hand better cards to those individuals who have higher scores. Developer needs to fix this. If you are willing to play this game until you have a higher score them get it, otherwise find a different version of crib on Google Play.
