GEKKO C64 Emulator is a Commodore 64 emulation, fast and easy to use completely programmed from scratch.

How it works:
- Press LOAD... and choose a game
- Press LOAD *
- If a game has an intro, press SPACE or RUN STOP
- Switch Joystick PORT 1/2 and press FIRE
- If you need to insert text or press a key you can use the command line
- Auto reset on new load on Android TV

The app is a really nice polished trip down memory lane. It works really well but there are 2 issues I have noticed. It says in app purchases but there seems to be no way to pay to remove the ads? Or indeed pay for anything :) Also, it comes with a few built in c64 games. Unfortunately there's no option to load your own d64, sna etc rom files. Also. Having external Bluetooth pad support would be great as on screen controls can be fiddly. Really nice app though and hope to see updates

Very promising emulator. If an option to add your own games is available, then I definitely would be happy to buy an ad free version. But I can't see an option to add own games or to buy a version without ads.

Keeps crashing right away, even prior to me mounting an Image, or loading a rom, I have tried everything from cache removal, to reinstalling. Nothing seems to work, the app also caused my phone to become non responsive a few times. I am only giving one star because it always crashes within 30 seconds! Program development team and beta testers might want to seriously look into this issue.
