About this game

Gem Cutter is an elegant, one-thumb swipe-to-cut arcade game set at a master jeweler's bench.

Rough gems are tossed up across the velvet tray in graceful arcs -- ruby, emerald, sapphire and topaz. Drag your finger across the screen to draw a bright cutting line, and any gem your stroke crosses is cut clean along its facet, throwing off light shards and sending its halves tumbling apart. Every gem you cut is set into your tray; fill the setting to finish the piece and move on to the next commission.

The craft is in timing and a steady hand. Cursed black stones are thrown in among the gems, and if your blade so much as grazes one it shatters and costs you a cutter. Steer your stroke around the cursed stones and let them fall away. Any gem that slips off the bottom uncut is lost and costs you too, so keep your eye on every arc. Sweep through several gems in one flowing cut to land a combo -- each extra gem in the same stroke is worth more carats, so wide, confident cuts rack up dazzling multipliers and flawless scores.

Work your way through ten hand-tuned commissions that toss faster and slip in more cursed stones the deeper you go, and chase a new best carat count on every one.

Features:
- One-finger swipe controls -- cut the whole game with a single thumb
- 10 commissions that unlock one at a time, each finer and tougher
- Faceted gems that split into flying halves with bursts of light
- Cursed stones to dodge and dropped gems to save
- Combo multipliers for cutting several gems in one stroke
- A per-commission best-carat ledger
- A clear built-in cutter's guide
- Fully offline: no ads, no sign-in, no internet, no accounts

Quick rounds, pure cutting focus -- drop in for a minute or chase a flawless high score across the whole workshop.
