Tie them together. Shadows, and allies.
From the pile of shadow cards, find three cards with the same image—that's "Shadow Tying."
A Japanese-style strategic tile puzzle where you and the ninjas of CryptoNinja retrieve the torn scroll.
In a time of war, the "Scroll of Shadow Tying," which had bound people and shadows together, was torn by a demonic hand.
The untied shadows returned to the Land of Roots, and the lights of the villages went out.
It is the Saika ninja—the Nekomata and his companions—who must tie the scattered fragments back together.
■ Matching Three to Create "Shadow Tying"
Pick up the cards one by one from the pile on the board and carry them to your ninja bag.
When you find three cards with the same image, "Tying" is achieved, and the ninjas return from their shadows to the village.
The bag can hold up to seven cards. If it overflows, the mission fails.
And you cannot take cards that are on top—so "which one to pick up first" is everything.
■ Solving by Reading, Not Luck
All included ninja missions are machine-verified to have solutions before being bundled.
Read the overlapping cards in the lower-level preview and turn back before you get stuck.
We aimed for a feel where you can read through the board like in shogi problems, rather than relying on shuffling.
Even if you fail, you can restart from a state where the board is "still solvable."
■ Ninjutsu Turns the Board Over
The available techniques change depending on the ninja you bring along.
・Nekomata "Shadow Dive" - Dives cards into the shadows for three turns, revealing the cards underneath.
・Nagisa "Spy Eye" - Sees through the hidden board.
・Koshiro "Substitution" - Swaps a risky move.
・Shiba "Water Bubble Bag" - Saves a ninja bag from overflowing.
・Hinanojo "Gunpowder Ball" - Crushes obstacles that stand in your way.
Who you go with directly impacts your strategy.
When Oen's workshop opens, you can bring in ninja tools such as cloaks of invisibility, transformation talismans, and windmills.
■ Mysterious Obstacles Covering the Board
Flip-over sealing talismans. Ink smoke that obscures your vision. A puzzle box whose contents cannot be read.
And at the end of each chapter, a formidable enemy awaits, binding the talismans with thread and creating a barrier.
As the chapters progress, the board becomes less straightforward, testing the depth of your reading skills.
■ Five Chapters, One Hundred Missions, and Beyond
・Main Story — Chapters 1-5, 100 missions in total. Each chapter has its own story and formidable enemy.
・Shadow Missions — 60 hidden stages unlocked after clearing all missions. Six ninja bags, and the board is even more challenging.
・Today's Mission — A different stage each day. Consecutive days of clearing the game accumulate as lights in the village.
* Story Scroll, Ninja Encyclopedia, Ninja Village — As you play, the scroll is repaired, and your companions begin to live in the village.
■ Voice Acting, Visuals, and Theme Song
Voice acting is recorded for the main ninjas. Movies are inserted at chapter milestones, and
the theme song "Kagemusubi" adorns the title screen.
