About this app
GEM Time is the employee app for the GEM Time workforce management system used by your employer. If your company does not use GEM Time, this app will not be useful to you - you need an account from your employer to sign in.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Clock in and out
Start and end your shift from your phone. A live counter shows how long you have been on the clock, and today's punches are listed underneath. Your location is recorded with each punch, and some workplaces require you to be on site for a punch to count.
See your schedule
Your shifts for the next six weeks, always the version your supervisor published. Split shifts, days off and shift types are all shown. Arrange a shift swap with a colleague directly in the app - your supervisor still approves it before anything changes.
Check your hours
Your own timecard for the current pay period and the one before it: regular hours, overtime, comp time and holiday hours, day by day, with your punches and any late arrivals. Sign off on your timecard before payroll runs, so corrections happen before you are paid, not after.
Request time off
See your vacation and comp-time balances before you ask. Request a whole day, part of a day, or comp-time hours, and attach a doctor's note by photographing it with your phone. Your request reaches your supervisor immediately.

Your hours, schedule and personal details are stored on the system your employer runs - they are not sold, shared or used for advertising.
You need login details from your employer to use this app. If you cannot sign in, your supervisor or HR department can help you.
