I'm very impressed with the custom equalizer. Fabulous range! The frequencies sound more accurate than all other ear buds I've used and most over-the-ear headphones too. The Ear Bud Finder really works. The tracking is excellent providing a map & address where to find them. When you activate the sound alert they play a loud clear tone that is easy to follow, and each ear bud is activated separately so the one you have in hand won't interfere with finding the other. I truly like this app!

My first earbuds had a mechanical failure and then the second pair also had the same issue. loss of sound in one side and frequent buzzing. at first I liked status for its good sound quality but now I see it's a defective design. I wouldn't buy them again. support was also odd and very short with me when receiving the replacements. They never sent me a response email to return the original buds.

compared to any other headphone companion app, this seems like a prototype. So many clicks to just get to the point where you can change a setting. Clearly most of the budget went to marketing and not an app that works properly. This is all beside the fact an update to the app changed how the EQ works completely, giving you much less control over the sound, basically negating the extreme dynamic range the hardware allows for. Very disappointed.

What’s new

This version adds support for disabling the Wearing Sensor as well as disabling EQ Normalization (aka Auto Trim) on the Pro X.

Also several bug fixes and internal analytics improvements.
