About this app

Puzzle Assistant is an assistant for solving puzzles and crosswords. The application is easy to use and contains a large collection of Slovenian and English passwords and descriptions.

Application options:

- Search by password or description.
- Separate the password and description with a space.
- To search only by description, start with a space.
- A period (.) means one unknown letter.
- An asterisk (*) means any string of characters.
- The + sign at the end of the search displays up to 100 hits.
- The command # or, for example, #15 displays the last entries.

Search examples:

[password description] : search by password and description
[ge.lo] : search by password with one unknown letter
[ge*] : search by part of password
[ge.lo description] : search by password with unknown letter and partial description
[ description] : search by description only
[password+], [password description+], [ description+] : display up to 100 results

Additional options:

- Help: ?
- Remove duplicate entries: #rmdup
- Clear local change history: #rmhis
- Create a backup: #backup or #ba
- Restore a backup: #restore or #re
- Remove a backup: #rmbackup or #rmba
- Empty the database: #rmall
- Restore the original database and remove local changes: #restoreall or #ra
- Add a new entry: enter a password and description in the search field, then press +
- Submit your changes or receive the next database update
- Links between passwords in the description with the @password notation
- Short tap on the description opens the @password links
- Long press on the description copies the entire description to the clipboard
- Set the color theme with the #color command
- Turn on or off checking for updates at startup: #updon / #updoff
