Chicken Road is an offline noir timing game built around one simple action: tap at exactly the right moment to crack the next safe.
Watch the hand move around the dial and tap while it is inside the illuminated arc. Hit the bright center for a Perfect Latch and earn 1.75× the points. Keep landing successful hits to build a scoring chain, with each consecutive latch adding 12% up to a maximum bonus of 144%.
From the third safe onward, red alarm arcs begin appearing on the dial. Hitting one costs a nerve, just like missing the target or running out of time. You start with three nerves and can recover one for every third safe opened, up to five.
The challenge grows as the night continues. Target arcs become narrower, the hand moves faster, and locks require more latches, eventually reaching seven. From the fifth safe, the hand may begin moving counterclockwise, while later runs can introduce direction changes during an attempt.
Each latch gives you enough time for at least two complete rotations, while generated targets keep a minimum 150-millisecond timing window inside the valid arc.
Collect coins during your runs and unlock nine different dial designs. Some are purchased with coins, while others require milestones such as opening enough safes, landing Perfect Latches, reaching a target score, or progressing deeper into a run. Each dial changes the visual palette of the hand, target, core, alarms, and timer ring.
Chicken Road stores your 20 best runs locally, including score, depth, Perfect Latches, accuracy, date, and the dial you used. Track overall statistics, collect achievements, and clear your records whenever you want.
An interactive training screen lets you practice on a live dial as many times as you need without losing nerves.
Follow the hand, wait for the opening, and make your move.
