Io brings Livebook to your Android device.

Io is an unofficial, independently built wrapper that bundles the open-source Livebook and runs it directly on your phone. It is a real Elixir runtime in your pocket: write and run interactive notebooks that mix Markdown prose with live code cells and their output, with no laptop and no remote server required.

Notebooks execute locally on the device using an on-device BEAM (the Erlang/Elixir virtual machine), so the same Elixir you would run on a desktop now runs natively on your phone.

• Install Hex packages on the fly with Mix.install
• Open .livemd notebook files shared from other apps
• Work without a connection once your dependencies are cached

PRIVACY
Io collects no personal data and does not track you. There is no account and no sign-up, nothing about your use of the app is sent to us, and we run no server that receives your data. Code you run in a notebook can make network requests that you initiate (for example, installing a package from hex.pm), but those go directly from your device to the service your code contacts.
