Genius Fleet Management (GFM) is the inspection app for the people who keep a fleet running: shop techs, yard managers, and the office staff who track vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
This is a tool for fleet companies, not a consumer app. There is no public signup. Your fleet administrator creates your account and hands you a login. The whole app sits behind that login, so you sign in before you see anything.
WHAT YOU DO IN THE APP
- Run inspections. Pick a vehicle, trailer, or piece of equipment, then walk a pass/fail checklist. Photograph defects, log the odometer and fuel level, and capture a signature before you submit.
- Work offline. Inspections and photos save to your phone the moment you record them. When you have a signal again, they sync to the server on their own. A dropped connection in the yard or out on the road does not cost you the report.
- Push defects to the shop. A failed item becomes something the shop can act on. Work orders, parts, and invoices live on the web side of the platform, so the defect you flag here turns into real shop work there.
- Look back. The History tab keeps your past inspections searchable, so you can pull up what was checked, when it happened, and what failed.
FOUR TABS
- Inspect: start a new inspection.
- My Work: the work orders assigned to you.
- History: past inspections you can search.
- Profile: your account and settings.
BUILT FOR FLEET TEAMS
Access follows your role. Admins, shop staff, yard managers, and driver-employees each see what their job needs. Each company's data is kept separate at the database level, so one fleet never sees another fleet's vehicles, inspections, or people. Everything moves over an encrypted HTTPS/TLS connection.
The app also records the location where an inspection was done, so the report is tagged to a place. It asks for location permission, and it still works if you decline.
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
No ads. No in-app purchases. No analytics or tracking SDKs. Your inspection notes, photos, and signatures stay inside your own company's account. They are not sold and not handed to anyone else to use for their own purposes.
GETTING ACCESS
You need an account with a fleet that already runs GFM. If your company uses Genius Fleet Management, ask your fleet administrator to set you up. If it does not, there is nothing to sign up for here yet.
Vehicle inspections and assigned work for fleet shops. Company accounts only.
