The "GenuineScan" app lets you verify product authenticity in seconds — just open the app and point your camera at the QR code on the product and the app tells you whether it's real, counterfeit, or already registered to someone else.
No account, no signup, no personal information required.

HOW IT WORKS

Every GenuineScan-protected product has two QR codes:
- An outer QR code on the packaging, visible before purchase
- An inner QR code inside the product, visible only after you open it

1. Before you buy: scan the outer QR code to confirm the product is authentic and not already sold to someone else.

2. After you buy: open the product, scan the inner QR code, and register your purchase. From that point on, that product is permanently linked to your device.

3. Anytime later: re-scan either code to confirm the product is registered and genuine.


WHY IT MATTERS

Counterfeits are everywhere — in cosmetics, electronics, supplements, fashion, spare parts, pharmaceuticals. A fake product can be ineffective at best and dangerous at worst. Traditional anti-counterfeit
measures (holograms, watermarks, serial numbers) can be copied. "GenuineScan" uses military-grade cryptography that physically cannot be forged.

PRIVACY-FIRST DESIGN

GenuineScan is account-free by design. We don't collect your name, email, phone number, or location. The only data the app sends to our servers is the encrypted QR payload itself and an anonymous device
identifier used to link your registered products to your device.

GenuineScan only verifies QR codes generated by GenuineScan-protected products. Scanning a random QR code from a website, business card, or other source will not return a result — this is expected behaviour.
