GeoTek Water Solutions provides an integrated mobile app designed for real-time monitoring of water infrastructure. Using IoT sensors physically installed on water systems, users can access data on water quality and infrastructure performance directly through the app's sensor readings screen. This functionality helps ensure clean water access and reduces waterborne disease risks in affected communities.
By 2030, GeoTek aims to serve over 5 million people across sub-Saharan Africa, improving water access and reducing waterborne diseases by 50%.
GeoTek's work has been recognized globally, including at the United Nations General Assembly in 2022 and 2023, and through prestigious awards such as the 776 Foundation Fellowship, Swarovski Foundation: Creatives for Our Future, Young Climate Prize, and the Grand Challenges Canada Award.
