Your journey to care work in Germany starts with one word: Pflegeling.

Pflegeling is the German learning app for internationally-trained nurses and care workers. Whether you are preparing a visa abroad or already working in Germany pending recognition, it takes you from your first German word to the B2 you need for Berufsanerkennung.

Generic apps teach you to order coffee. Pflegeling teaches you to admit a resident, understand a doctor's orders, hand over a shift, calm a worried relative, and write a care report that stands up to scrutiny — the German that gets you licensed, and the German that keeps patients safe.

• 56 chapters across four CEFR levels, each built around a real workplace scenario — from introducing yourself on the ward to managing emergencies and speaking with families.
• Every chapter gives you an explanation in your own language, vocabulary with audio, dialogues you can replay line by line, and reading, listening, speaking and writing practice.
• Milestones mapped to your journey: A2 for the Recognition-Partnership visa, B1 for recruitment programmes, B2 for full recognition.

PREPARATION FOR THE EXAM THAT MATTERS
Pflegeling prepares you for the Deutsch B1·B2 Pflege examination — the nursing German exam recognition authorities across Germany accept — and for A1 and A2 on the way there.

• Exercises mirror real exam tasks: listening and reading questions, Sprachbausteine, the written Aufnahmebericht and Biografiebericht, all three oral formats, and the Pflegebericht you write on shift.
• 8 full mock tests, two per level, under exam timing and scored per skill — so you know you are ready before you pay the exam fee.
• Speaking is scored separately, because on this exam it is the subtest that decides your certificate.

Record conversations and handovers, write care reports, and get feedback: corrections with explanations, a level estimate per task, and tips in your own language.
