Travel Diary is your personal journey companion — an app that helps you record, organise and relive every adventure, whether it happened yesterday, years ago, or is still being planned.
SAVE LOCATIONS
Capture any place with a single tap. Add photos, videos, audio recordings and notes. Rate locations, assign categories and attach them to collections. Every location is stored privately on your device.
RECORD GPS ROUTES
Start a GPS recording and Travel Diary tracks your route in the background — whether you're walking, cycling or driving. Routes are saved with start and end markers, distance and elevation data.
EXPLORE NEARBY
From any saved location, tap Explore to discover what's around it — restaurants, museums, nature reserves, hotels, parks and more. Choose a category and search radius, then open results directly in Google Maps or Street View.
LIVE WEATHER
Check the current weather and a 6-hour rain forecast for any saved location, anywhere in the world — powered by Open-Meteo.
COLLECTIONS & GROUPS
Organise your locations into collections and group collections by trip, region or theme. Add custom emoji and templates to give each collection its own character.
PLAN YOUR TRIP
Create trip preparation checklists with tasks, deadlines and priorities. Link checklists to your collections so everything stays in one place.
MAP
All your locations appear as colour-coded pins on an interactive map. Search for addresses and points of interest, switch between map layers including satellite and topographic, and add new locations with a long press.
SYNC & BACKUP
Optionally sync your collections to your own website. Export and import backups to keep your data safe or transfer it to another device.

Travel Diary works without an account or subscription. Your data stays on your device. Some features such as Explore and Live Weather require an internet connection.
