About this app

Aktar uploads photos and files from your Android phone or tablet straight to your own S3-compatible storage and copies the link to your clipboard. No account, no middleman, no subscription.

HOW IT WORKS
• Connect your bucket in under a minute. Presets for Cloudflare R2, Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, DigitalOcean Spaces and MinIO fill in the right endpoint, or use any other S3-compatible service.
• Upload from your photo library, the camera, your files or the clipboard, or share a file to Aktar from any app.
• The link is copied as soon as the upload finishes: a plain URL, Markdown, HTML or your own template.

FEATURES
• Upload several files at once, with progress, cancel and retry
• Multiple destinations, switchable per upload
• Upload history with search, thumbnails and previews for images, PDFs, text and Markdown
• Browse your buckets folder by folder, including files not uploaded with Aktar
• Search a whole bucket, create folders, rename, move and delete files
• Temporary links that also work for private buckets, valid from 5 minutes to 7 days
• Expiring uploads: pick 1, 7, 14 or 30 days and your bucket deletes the file by itself, even when Aktar isn't open
• Upload whole folders as one ZIP, or file by file with their subfolders
• Upload profiles: each destination keeps its own copy format, link and “Delete after”
• Photos lose their location before they're uploaded, or all metadata, set per destination
• Show a QR code for any upload's link
• The same file sent to the same destination again reuses its existing link
• Name files after their MD5 or SHA-256, or rename them before upload
• Image processing per destination: convert, compress and resize photos
• Large files upload in parts with no 5 GB limit and resume after a failure
• Delete a file from your storage right from the history
• Light and dark mode, in 17 languages

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your access keys stay encrypted on your device with the Android Keystore and are only ever sent to the storage endpoint you configure. Aktar has no backend, no analytics and no tracking. Your files go straight from your device to your storage.
