About this app

Clox is time tracking built for trades and field crews. Your crew clocks in from their phones with one tap, and you get accurate hours that are ready for payroll on Friday. It replaces paper timecards and the Sunday nights spent adding up hours by hand.

It is built for small teams of about 5 to 25 people, including construction, cleaning, landscaping, HVAC, and electrical crews.

HOW IT WORKS
Managers run everything from the web at app.getclox.com, and the crew uses the Clox app on their phones.
• Set up your projects and worksites, then invite your crew with a link.
• Workers tap once to clock in and out, start and end breaks, and switch between jobs.
• Punches sync as they happen and keep working offline when there is no signal.
• Review the week, fix any mistakes, and approve hours in a few minutes.

READY FOR PAYROLL
Export the file your payroll system needs. Clox includes formats for QuickBooks, Gusto, ADP, and Paychex, plus a universal summary that works with any provider. Overtime is calculated for you.

WORKSITE VERIFICATION (OPTIONAL)
If you turn it on, Clox checks a worker's location at the moment they clock in to confirm they are at an assigned worksite. It is off by default and never tracks location in the background. You can also require an optional clock-in photo.

SHARED TABLET (KIOSK MODE)
For crews that share one device, mount a tablet on site and let everyone punch in with a personal PIN.

PROOF YOU CAN STAND BEHIND
Every punch is saved to a tamper-evident record. If an hour is ever disputed, you can export a signed copy that anyone can verify came from Clox unaltered.

Clock in and out from your phone, tag your hours to a project and task, and take breaks. Punches are saved on your device when you have no signal and sync as soon as you are back online.

Managers can check the roster, view the schedule, and approve hours from the Approvals tab.
