About this app

Get Field Grid is the crew app for land surveying and field service companies. It is used on site by the people doing the work.

An account is provided by your employer. This app is not a standalone product and cannot be used without a company account.

WHAT YOUR CREW DOES WITH IT

• See the jobs assigned to you, grouped by status, with the site address and what the office needs.
• Start a job when you arrive and mark it complete when the work is done.
• Document the site: photos, scanned documents, video and voice notes, all attached to the job.
• Attach the job's location when you have a GPS fix, so the office does not have to ask where the work happened.
• Open the job's documents — the reference material the office attached, and the files on record — in the built-in PDF viewer, and print, share or save them.

BUILT FOR BAD SIGNAL

Field work happens where coverage does not. Jobs are cached on the device, and anything you capture without a connection is queued and uploaded automatically when signal returns. A job is never marked complete until its photos, scans and video have actually reached the server.

FOR THE OFFICE

Account owners also get a Manage view: assign pending jobs to crew members, review completed work, and approve it or send it back for correction.

PRIVACY

Location is used only while the app is open, to record where a job was performed and to show your crew's position on your employer's live map while a job is in progress. The app never tracks your location in the background. Billing is handled on the web; there are no purchases inside the app.
