Every good restaurant recommendation ends up in the same place: forgotten. A friend mentions somewhere brilliant, you save a video of a place you have to try, and then months later you're standing two streets away with no idea it was ever on your list.

Isti fixes that. Save the places you want to try, and Isti quietly reminds you when you're near one.

SAVE PLACES FROM ANYWHERE

Found somewhere on TikTok or Instagram? Share the link straight into Isti and it works out which restaurant the video is about, then saves it for you. No copying addresses, no screenshots you'll never look at again.

You can also tap any restaurant on the map to save it, or search for somewhere by name.

Your saved places live on a map, so you can see them the way you actually use them — by where you are right now.

- Filter by what's open now, what's close, or the kind of place you're after
- Search worldwide, so you can plan somewhere before you travel

A NUDGE WHEN YOU'RE NEARBY

This is the part that makes the rest worth it. When you're close to somewhere you've saved, Isti lets you know — so the list you carefully built actually turns into somewhere you eat.

You choose whether to switch this on, and you can turn it off at any time.


KEEP TRACK OF WHERE YOU'VE BEEN

Check in when you visit. Rate it, write yourself a note about what to order next time, add photos, and tag whoever you were with.

Over time you build a record of everywhere you've eaten — genuinely useful when someone asks where they should go, or when you're trying to remember the name of that place from last summer.


BUILD LISTS WORTH SHARING

Organise saved places into collections: date night, weekend brunch, places to take visitors, that trip you're planning.

Share a collection with friends inside the app, or send a link to anyone.


SEE WHERE YOUR FRIENDS ARE EATING

Follow friends and see where they've been checking in. Recommendations from people whose taste you actually trust, instead of a wall of anonymous reviews.

Send and accept friend requests, browse someone's saved places, and add their finds to your own list.

A NOTE ON LOCATION

Isti uses your location in the background to send proximity alerts when you're near a saved restaurant. This is entirely optional — the app works without it, and you can turn it off whenever you like. Continued use of GPS in the background can reduce battery life.
