Jamia is an app where musicians find each other. If you're forming a band, looking for band members, need a bassist urgently for tonight's concert, or are looking for a songwriting partner, you're in the right place. Created by a musician who's been playing on stage for 17 years.

HOW IT WORKS
• Create your profile: your instrument, how long you've been playing, your style, your neighborhood, and who you're looking for. • Browse cards. Swipe right and your "Let's play together" request will appear immediately; you don't have to wait for a match. • Once your request is accepted, a chat will open; suggest a rehearsal date, share a setlist.

• Choose who you're looking for: drummer, bassist, keyboardist, vocalist… The musicians you're looking for will appear first. • Search by neighborhood, instrument, style, and skill level. • See why you're compatible on the card: the instrument you're looking for, shared songs, and who's available today. • If the person you're looking for isn't there yet, we'll notify you when someone joins nearby.

ADVERTISEMENTS AND URGENT PERFORMANCES
• Post an advertisement; musicians matching your advertisement will receive notifications. • Urgent performance advertisements immediately reach musicians available that day. • Advertisements automatically close when their time expires.

LISTEN BEFORE YOU WRITE
• Profiles have YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, and Instagram links; listen to how they play before you write.

SECURITY
• Report and block. Blocked individuals will not be able to see you anywhere. • Your location is only kept at the neighborhood level; home address is not requested.
• For ages 18 and up.
