About this app
Mawed turns one sentence into a reminder at the right time.
Type it the way you would say it, say it out loud, or take a photo of a timetable or a page. Mawed reads it, works out what kind of entry it is and which category it belongs to, and sets the reminder. For example: "Statistics lecture Sunday at 10:30", "furniture instalment on the 5th every month", or "team meeting half an hour after Maghrib".
What it does
• Your own words, in your own dialect. No formal Arabic needed: Egyptian, Gulf, Levantine or Maghrebi Arabic, English, or both mixed.
• It asks only about what is unclear. Before saving, only the fields it is not sure of are marked for you to check.
• Reminders anchored to prayer times. "Half an hour after Maghrib" is kept as you said it and worked out on your phone, from a city you pick from a list, without reading your location and without a connection.
• Reminders are scheduled on your phone, so they need no connection to arrive on time. Reading a new sentence does need one; anything typed offline is kept as a draft and tried again when the connection returns.
• Six ready categories: study, work, health, finance, occasions and personal, plus your own.
• Repeating entries: a weekly lecture is written once, and a monthly instalment comes back on its day.
• Optional Hijri date on Today and in the week view.
• Notes, and an app lock with fingerprint, face unlock or a PIN.
• Arabic and English, each complete.
Mawed Plus
• Larger monthly allowances for voice and photo pages, and no daily limit on typed entries.
• Up to 3 reminders on one entry.
• Share one entry by a link. Opening the link, adding the entry and receiving its updates are free, always.
• Family: up to 5 people, who join with a code from the person who made it. An entry its owner chooses to share can be sent to ring on a family member's phone, and each person chooses who may remind them. Members see each other's count for today and how many are done. No feed, and nothing anyone can discover. Joining a family is free.

Privacy
No ads. No tracking across other apps or websites. Your data is not sold. No public profiles and no follows, and nobody sees your entries except one you choose to share, through a link you create.
