About this app

Nafs is a Muslim porn blocker and Islamic screen-time app: block porn permanently, block the apps that eat your nights, and earn your screen time back through worship.

You reached for your phone before you reached for Fajr. Again. For the brother or sister who has already decided to leave it behind and wants the door shut for good.

QUIT PORN — THE GUARD STAYS ON
Turn on the Guard and adult sites are blocked across your phone. No unlock, no exceptions, no "just this once". Unlike the app blocker, the Guard has no worship-timer and is designed to stay on: one switch, and the door stays closed. When the urge hits, a panic button is one tap away — no shame, just the next right step.

MORE THAN AN APP BLOCKER: BLOCK, WORSHIP, EARN
Block Instagram, TikTok, YouTube — any app that eats your day. Most app blockers just say no. The Nafs app asks you to worship first. Read Quran, complete a set of dhikr, or listen to adhkar, and your blocked apps unlock for the same time you gave to Allah. One minute of ibadah, one minute of screen time. Stop doomscrolling by replacing it, not just forbidding it.

QUIT FOR GOOD: THE 14-DAY COURSE
"Tame Your Nafs" is a 14-day course built to help you break the habit and stay free — grounded in Quran and Sunnah, one honest step a day.

WORSHIP, BUILT IN
- Read Quran with Arabic, transliteration, and translation
- Morning & evening adhkar with beautiful recitation
- A full dua library organized by situation
- A smooth tasbeeh counter for your dhikr
- One-tap logging for all five daily prayers
- Prayer-time lock: distractions pause automatically when it's time to pray

SEE YOUR GROWTH
Prayer streaks, Quran progress, days protected, and daily worship minutes. Watch the clean days add up.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No social feed and no ads. Blocking runs on your phone, and Accessibility data never leaves it. Your dua journal is encrypted on your phone. If you turn on cloud backup, your worship history and journal are kept in your own backup so you can restore them on a new phone. Nafs uses a few services to run the app: Google Play and RevenueCat for purchases, PostHog for usage analytics (not linked to your name or email), and AppsFlyer and Meta to measure our ads. Your relationship with Allah is between you and Him. Full details: getnafs.com/privacy

Available in many languages. Hasanat values shown in-app are symbolic encouragements to worship — only Allah determines true reward.

A halal way to take your screen time back. Guard your gaze. Give your best hours to Allah.

ACCESSIBILITY PERMISSION DISCLOSURE
Nafs uses Android's Accessibility Service to power its protection features. When you choose apps to block, Accessibility Service detects when one of those apps is opened and shows you the redirect screen so you can do ibadah instead of scrolling. It also powers the Guard (blocking adult sites across your phone) and the prayer-time lock (pausing distractions when it's time to pray). That is the only thing Accessibility Service is used for. Nafs does NOT read your messages, monitor your typing, or capture content from other apps, and no accessibility data ever leaves your device — all blocking decisions happen locally on your phone. Granting this permission is optional: you can still use Nafs for ibadah tracking, Quran, adhkar, dua, and salawat without it.

Ratings and reviews

the app markets itself as a self development tool but in reality its a data collection magnet. why cant the devs not collect and share data. the app collects, personal, financial and activity data and sells it to data brokers. i dont want to pass judgement but this is nifaq.

Created something Right thing thankyou wish like this some more app to get closer to allah at any cost....

This is a good app, definitely download and try it once.
