Turn on the Guard and adult sites are blocked across your phone. No unlock. No exceptions. Unlike the app lock, the Guard has no worship-timer and no "just this once" — it is designed to stay on. This is gaze protection built to last: one switch, and the door stays closed. When the moment is hard, a "Get help" button is one tap away — no shame, just the next right step.

ACCESSIBILITY PERMISSION DISCLOSURE
Nafs uses Android's Accessibility Service to power its protection features. When you choose apps to block, Accessibility Service detects when one of those apps is opened and shows you the redirect screen so you can do ibadah instead of scrolling. It also powers the Guard (blocking adult sites across your phone) and the prayer-time lock (pausing distractions when it's time to pray). That is the only thing Accessibility Service is used for. Nafs does NOT read your messages, monitor your typing, or capture content from other apps, and no accessibility data ever leaves your device — all blocking decisions happen locally on your phone. Granting this permission is optional: you can still use Nafs for ibadah tracking, Quran, adhkar, dua, and salawat without it.

What’s new

Fixes an issue where some new users never saw the subscription options during setup.

Also: the monthly plan now correctly shows its free trial, fewer freezes when the guard blocks an app, and the prayer log no longer shows the previous day.
