About this app

Clover lets you earn loyalty rewards and perks at your favorite local businesses. Visit a participating spot, introduce yourself, and collect points to earn perks. Or skip the line and place mobile orders for pickup right from the app.

How it works:

We designed Clover to be fast, friendly, and out of the way. When you check into one of your favorite spots, Clover lets the merchant know that you're in the house. Just mention your first name when you make a purchase, and you'll be on your way to earning perks — no punch cards to remember to bring, scanning of codes, or fussing with gadgets at the counter.

We've recently added mobile ordering capabilities, so you can skip the line and pick up your order. Look for the "Order Ahead" tab or shopping bag icon at participating businesses.

Trust the reviews, the app sucks! Had rewards to redeem, and clicked the redeem button by accident before I got to the register. I figured it was okay since the app was "waiting on cashier". Once I did try to redeem, it had disappeared. You'd think the reward would stay until it's actually used..... The interface is basic and there isn't any way for you to look at account history...i don't know why restaurants choose this as their rewards systems, they'll just end up with frustrated customers...

Watch for double charges! I noticed when I was placing an order that when I chose 20% for the tip the cost when up a lot more. Sure enough, if you choose the tip by % versus adding in a custom tip amount, the app charges twice for a tip. The total breakdown is right but the total is wrong. Don't know how long this has been happening.

Reading reviews from the entire last year. It appears that rewards simply won't redeem or won't work at all. Also, the app is unable to accept any payment methods. Just says "Well, shucks. We're having trouble reaching Clover on the network". And more importantly, there is literally NO customer service. No email, no phone number, nothing. There is no way to contact anyone about any issue. Ridiculous! These issues have been on-going for the better part of a year!
