Flash Words, the French word game where every second counts.
Sixteen letters on a 4x4 grid, three minutes on the clock: connect neighboring letters with your fingertip to form as many words as possible. Over 400,000 words are accepted, from the shortest (two letters) to the longest.
DUELS ON THE SAME GRID
Tap "Play": another player takes up your challenge on the exact same grid, with the same letters and the same bonus squares. The highest score wins. No need to be online at the same time: a notification alerts you when your opponent has played.
• Win: +3 points
• Tie: +1 point
• Loss: -1 point
A MONTHLY LEADERBOARD
Every month a new season begins, and everyone starts from scratch. Aim for the Top 20 or track your position in "My Zone." Leaderboards from past seasons are still available.
DEFINITIONS FOR EVERY WORD
A word game that enriches your vocabulary: each word you find displays its definition during the game. At the end, tap any word on the grid, whether you found it or not, to read its full definition and see its path on the grid.
THE GAME
• A 16-letter grid, 3 minutes, no breaks.
• Connect neighboring letters in all 8 directions, without going back through the same one.
• Each letter has its value. The LD and LT squares double or triple a letter, MD and MT the entire word, and long words earn a bonus.
• Accents and cedillas are ignored: ETE counts as "été" (summer).

Free practice games every day, with no opponents or stakes, to get you warmed up.
FREE AND AD-FREE
No ads, ever. You receive diamonds to start, then more each day you open the game, up to your daily limit; a duel uses one. Out of diamonds? Come back the next day, or practice in the meantime.
Three optional purchases, with no subscription or automatic renewal, allow you to go further:
• The Double Pack, yours forever: twice as many diamonds each day, double your daily limit, and your balance is automatically capped at that limit upon purchase.
• The 30-Day Pass: for 30 days, duels without spending any diamonds and unlimited practice. It ends automatically.
• The 50-Diamond Reserve: 50 diamonds kept separate from your balance, with no expiration date, used only when your balance reaches 0.
