Downtime is a small collection of offline puzzle games for the moments in between — a flight, a commute, a queue, a waiting room. All games allow a play in short sessions and can be paused as needed.
NO INTERNET
Every game can be played fully offline, even in airplane mode.
NO ADS, NO SIGN-UP.
There are no adverts nor pop-ups that would interrupt you from playing. The game does not collect any information about you, does not need an account nor email. You can simply open the application and play.
All games are free and complete.
THE GAMES
Tight Fit — a classic-inspired game. Put the falling pieces of different shape fast to fit them without gaps and clear the lines. The speed increases as you play - see how deep you can get before the field fills up.
Carry On — box-pushing puzzles in the classic sokoban style, most of them from David W. Skinner's Microban set. Push every box onto its mark.
Orbits — move the planets to form and clear the lines. New planets arrive every turn, so you need to clear the lines before the board fills up.
OBJECTIVES AND MEDALS
Each game has objectives, and you will get medals once completed the underlying objectives.
BUILT FOR SHORT SESSIONS
All games are automatically saved. You can close the application mid-level or switch to another game; when you come back days later, the game will be in the same state and you can continue playing.
CONVENIENCE
The application supports dark and light themes, you can disable/enable sounds, play with gestures, on-screen buttons or even your gamepad.
Downtime is free, offline, and quiet. That's the whole idea.
