About this app

Gig Boss is the key to organizing your music career. Easily view the details to your next gig in your chronological scrolling feed of gigs. Create groups, create events, manage your calendar, track how much a gig pays, and whether or not you've been paid. Group members can accept or decline gig invites via email or in-app. Tap an address to pull up navigation or Uber/Lyft. Tap a phone number to call or text someone in the band. Click “Add to Calendar” by using the ellipses (…) to add your event to your native phone calendar.

Managing a tour, fronting a band, and freelancing with multiple groups has never been easier. Tax time a hassle? Can’t remember what you were paid on that one gig? Utilize the Books page to view your income by date range or by group. Keep track of who you've paid, and who owes you money.

Gig Boss was created by musician couple Adam Meckler and Jana Nyberg. Adam and Jana have been professional musicians for more than a decade. Between raising their two sons, fronting their own bands, freelancing with many others, touring, recording, and teaching...it was hard to keep it all straight! They dreamt of an app that would make it easy to find the details of a gig while changing a diaper and running out the door, or racing from a rehearsal with one band to a show with another. Gig Boss was born!

Ratings and reviews

Useless outside of north America, as the phone number section for a new client cannot be formatted in any way other than American. In the UK we don't want 1 (xxx) xxx-xxxx, we need xxxxx xxxxxx. Offer an option to change it and I'll give it a try. As it is, I couldn't even get past step 1.

Perfect for what I need. Easy, intuitive, and has everything you need without the unnecessary stuff. Pro version is also very fairly priced.

This app has just not been for me by all means as in my personal location as well no gigs upcoming or scanning through the calendar we're never going to come up at least for me living and from Tucson, Arizona unfortunately.. Good luck 👍

What’s new

- Monthly recurring gigs now reoccur on the same weekday per month (e.g. every 3rd Friday) instead of same calendar date
- Long pressing on a gig card now pulls up options for more convenience!
- Gigs can be duplicated!
- Group admins can now edit gigs created by other admins of the group
