How It Works

1) Download the GigSky app and browse plans
2) Select a plan and create your account
3) Install your eSIM and activate your plan. Only activate when you are ready to use. Plans can be bought 30 days in advance.

Usually works well. However sometimes it stops working for no reason and to restart needs to be on WiFi

I've used gigsky for probably 3 or 4 years. They're the best way to go multiple places and are super flexible. Their customer service used to be top notch. HOWEVER. I'm in Europe now and tried to top up and my sim which worked for a week has decided to brick. I'm on email no 5 with customer service now and still haven't gotten resolution. I've tried the sim in several phones, one of which is successfully using a gigsky sim. So I'd recommend it 100% but also recommend a backup. Safe travels!!

I purchased an esim data plan for the first time because my current plan does not include roaming and it was a smooth experience. I installer the app, signed up for an account, purchased and adding the esim to my phone and activated it. I wish i knew that my phones supported esim as each time i traveled i had to get a local SIM and a data plan. Sure an esim plan is a bit more expensive but it is worth it.
