Lịch Âm Gia Đình is a lunar calendar for the whole family: it remembers death anniversaries (giỗ), vegetarian fasting days, the first day and full moon of each lunar month, and lunar birthdays — then reminds you ahead of time. Free, offline, no ads.
⏰ DEATH ANNIVERSARY (GIỖ) — RECALCULATED EVERY YEAR
Enter the date of passing once (lunar or solar) and the app works out the anniversary for every future year, reminding you 7, 3 and 1 day ahead — or on the day itself, or up to 14 or 30 days early. No more counting it out by hand each year.
Each anniversary can be observed on the date of passing, the day before, or the day after, whichever your family keeps.
🥬 VEGETARIAN FASTING DAYS
Choose the practice you keep — 2, 4, 6 or 10 fasting days per lunar month — and get reminded the evening before. When a lunar month runs 29 days instead of 30, the app adjusts the dates for you.
🌕 FIRST DAY & FULL MOON
Turn it on once; the app reminds you every lunar month.
🎂 LUNAR BIRTHDAYS
Remember family birthdays on the lunar date, with or without a birth year.
📌 ANY LUNAR DATE YOU CHOOSE
Add any lunar date worth remembering — once, or repeating monthly or yearly. Tap a day in the calendar and set a reminder for that lunar date straight away.
🖼️ PHOTOS OF YOUR FAMILY
Attach up to four photos per person and pick one as their portrait. Photos stay on your device.
📅 ACCURATE LUNAR ⇄ SOLAR CONVERSION
Uses the Vietnamese calendar (UTC+7), which can differ from the Chinese one, and covers the awkward cases:
• Leap months — an anniversary in a leap month is still observed in the MAIN month.
• A 30th-day date in a 29-day month — rolls back to the 29th, never skipped.
• Yearly Can-Chi names, with the Vietnamese zodiac (Year of the Cat, not Rabbit; Water Buffalo, not Ox).
🔒 PRIVATE AND LIGHTWEIGHT
• Works OFFLINE. No ads. No tracking.
• No account needed — your data stays on your device. Optionally sign up with an email if you want sync.
• Light, dark, or system theme.
• Export your data to keep a copy, and load it back when you need it.
• Vietnamese and English.
