Once onboarded, users are greeted by a welcoming home screen that serves as the central hub, providing easy navigation to all major sections of the app. The interface is built with modern Material Design principles, featuring a custom animated background inspired by guitar aesthetics, with subtle guitar strings and floating musical notes that create an immersive musical atmosphere throughout the user experience.

One of the standout features of Giters Piters is the Chord Sort Game, an interactive sorting challenge that helps players learn to identify and categorize different types of guitar chords. The game presents players with chord cards that must be sorted into three categories: Major chords, Minor chords, and Seventh chords. With ten progressively challenging levels, players start with simple chord recognition and gradually advance to more complex scenarios involving a wider variety of chords. Each level provides visual feedback through emojis and animations, making the learning process engaging and rewarding while building muscle memory for chord recognition.

The Encyclopedia section, known as Guitarpedia, offers in-depth educational articles covering essential guitar topics. Users can explore four comprehensive articles that delve into the anatomy of guitars, basic chord theory, reading tablature, and understanding guitar scales. Each article is carefully written to be informative yet accessible, breaking down complex concepts into digestible information that builds a solid foundation for guitar learning. The articles are presented in a clean, scrollable format that makes reading comfortable and allows users to learn at their own pace.

To reinforce learning and test knowledge retention, Giters Piters includes a comprehensive quiz system with four distinct quizzes, each containing ten multiple-choice questions. These quizzes cover topics related to the encyclopedia articles, allowing users to assess their understanding of guitar anatomy, chord theory, tablature reading, and scales. The app tracks high scores and completion status for each quiz, encouraging users to improve their performance over time. Progress in both the game and quizzes is automatically saved using Room Database, ensuring that users can continue their learning journey seamlessly across sessions.
