About this app

The sole purpose of this app is to back up the current wallpaper.

Up to Android 13 you need to grant the "READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" permission to access the wallpaper.

On Android 13 and higher it is necessary to grant the "MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" permission.
This permission also allows read and write access to all user files on the device. The app does not use the permission to access any files though.

free software <3 although I recommend installing it from f droid. only one issue: when you hit "about" the text screen goes all the way up to the top, and it collides with my Android status bar. making it difficult to read but more than anything bad looks

Long story short, this helped me save an HD photo of my wife that I was using as my lock screen but somehow lost the original file to. Looking at the saved version from the app compared to a screenshot of the lock screen is night and day in quality, so thank you.

Grateful I was easily able to Quick Share my old Samsung Note 9's Wallpaper photo with my new Samsung S24 Ultra! Previously I was unable to find my Wallpaper photo in My Files, and this App found it immediately! Thank you!! I then was able to edit the image to fit my new phone's screen size, too. 😁❤
