About this app

The sole purpose of this app is to back up the current wallpaper.

Up to Android 13 you need to grant the "READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" permission to access the wallpaper.

On Android 13 and higher it is necessary to grant the "MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" permission.
This permission also allows read and write access to all user files on the device. The app does not use the permission to access any files though.

This is a limited version. Get the full version from Github or F-Droid:

get the updated version of this from github... and u shud be able to save ur wallpaper. the playstore version of this app complains that it can extract and save the wallpapers on devices running android 12 & earlier. BUT (and this is important), an updated apk (the installation file) is available on github. i installed the updated github apk and it worked like a charm! if you know how to do all of those things... you can get your current wallpaper easily. this is a very useful app.

Grateful I was easily able to Quick Share my old Samsung Note 9's Wallpaper photo with my new Samsung S24 Ultra! Previously I was unable to find my Wallpaper photo in My Files, and this App found it immediately! Thank you!! I then was able to edit the image to fit my new phone's screen size, too. 😁❤

I have no backup available to me of my current phone's lockscreen and wallpaper, and I was very afraid that I might lose my only copy of said pictures of my youngest daughter as a baby. This app just gave me the biggest relief ever, and I cannot thank the dev enough for releasing this app.
