About this app

EKA2L1 is a Symbian emulator, available for 64-bit Android with experimental support for 32-bit phones.
The app tries to emulate multiple versions of Symbian. Currently it supports the following: S60v1, S60v3 and S60v5, with the most compatible devices in OS order: N-Gage, 5320 and 5800.

While the compability is still growing, it already runs a large number of software rendered games, with custom key mappings and frame rate adjusting.
See https://12l1.com for more information.
EKA2L1 is an open source project, you can view source code at: https://github.com/EKA2L1/EKA2L1

Seems like it still is in beta version. Way too many bugs. Unattractive UI. Lack of customization. No automated way to install devices. Almost no device works (not even the recommended too). If fortunately works, crashes and freezes every seconds. Officialy hosted roms and firmwares are just garbage. Can't even play the built-in games. Cannot even install a game externally (tested with Snake 3d and Snake Supersonic). But, good initiatives, Devs! Keep it up, and fix those bugs.

Finally I could play n-gage games on my palm! Been wanting this since my childhood back in mid-2000's. So far I only tried 3 games (CoD, Ashpalt, Crash) and all work perfectly! My only gripes is when editing virtual keypad, it feels clunky and sluggish. And maybe add feature to save virtual key settings? So player can make their own virtual keypad setup for different games.

System Rush Evolution is now playable after the last update. The Final Ancient Battle is not freezing anymore but has missing texts. Text bug in End User License Agreement of M Bounce games disappeared. Belle and N-Gage 2.0 are now supported. System OS cannot be deleted using the app. Perfect Drummer still has a flickering bug. Fatal Arena 3D can now be played in s60v2 but music is missing. Saga of Stone is also working now. Geopad DC has graphics now. Ashen "A" text bug has also been fixed.
