About this game

Chess lets you play the computer, play your friends, and study every game you play - with no limit on how many you analyze.

Play the computer: nine bots from beginner to full strength, with hints, undo, and optional clocks and increments.

Play friends: start an online game and share a six-character code, or pass the device around for same-screen play. Online games need a Google sign-in; everything else works without an account.

Unlimited game analysis: review any finished game or imported PGN as often as you like. Every move is rated from best to blunder, you get an accuracy score for both players, an evaluation graph, the engine's best lines, and arrows showing the best move.

Make it yours: choose from six board colours and four piece styles, in three colour schemes, and switch the coordinates on or off.

Chess has no ads and no third-party trackers, and doesn't sell your data. You can delete your account and its online games at any time, from inside the app or from the web - see the privacy policy for details.
