Privacy

Your PDF documents and reading activity stay on your device. MJ PDF has no ads or tracking.

If the app crashes, you can choose whether to send a technical diagnostic report to help identify and fix the problem. A crash report is never sent without your approval and does not include your PDF documents.

Storage or All files access is used only to discover, open, rename, delete, and manage PDF documents across device storage and removable storage.

Internet access is used to open PDFs from links and to send a crash report only when you explicitly approve it.

I needed a viewer that could handle a long skinny PDF, similar to an HTML page, about 1x10 aspect ratio. A majority of PDF viewers, I discovered, do not do this well. MJPDF is an exception. It also has settings for sharpened rendering, as well as anti-aliasing. (Anti-aliasing is sometimes better left unset.) Finally, I noticed no ads, always a plus.

Excellent, lightweight, quickly and easily finds the files I'm trying to read. In particular, one of the few readers where the devs were smart enough to include a filtering and sorting function that organizes my books by file directory to help me search individually. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5/5 is because it doesn't have in-app tabs I can swap between like the internet browser I use - it instead creates new windows. If theu could change that without adding/breaking anything, 5/5.

I just got the app because, I needed a new one for reading files. My only real issue is that you have to use to many steps to increase font size and as a person who is near sighted that's a problem. It would be grate if you set up an easy way to increase font size without having to zoom and scroll all over the place just to read through even one page of a long document
