About this game

Muddle is a free offline word puzzle game inspired by the classic Boggle board game. Find as many words as you can by connecting adjacent letters on the grid — the longer the word, the more points you score!

TWO GAME MODES
- Classic Board — a 4x4 letter grid with a minimum word size of 3 letters
- Big Board — a 5x5 letter grid with a minimum word size of 4 letters, featuring two-letter tiles with popular pairings like Th, He and In

DAILY PUZZLE CHALLENGE
Like Wordle, a new puzzle is available every day. Create a username, submit your score to a global leaderboard and share your results with friends using a Wordle-style sharing feature.

CHALLENGE A FRIEND
Finished a game? Hit Challenge to send a link to a friend. They'll get the same board and timer — see who can find the most words.

MULTIPLAYER — PASS AND PLAY
Take turns with friends and family in pass and play multiplayer mode — no extra devices needed.

PLAY OFFLINE
The full game is available offline — no internet connection required. Even the word dictionary works offline, giving you instant definitions for any word you find. Connect online for extended definitions and examples, or to submit your daily puzzle score to the leaderboard.

Wonderful app! Simple, clean, sleek design. Addictive! Ads are easy to deal with (not noisy, not every round, easy to dismiss). Would be 5 stars but it regularly doesn't recognize words I am certain are words (cel and stent are two recent ones). However, many words I don't recognize are on the word lists, so it's still a good challenge.

I really enjoy this game! It loads super fast & very few ads. I highly recommend it! My only critique is boards don't have enough common words or multi-syllabic words. A 16 square board may have 6 letters that aren't used at all. As a result, there are a lot of unusual 3-letter words. I guess a lot of these words by making words using phonemes in the puzzle that "seem" like possible combos. More prefix & suffix combinations & an e on the board would be great. Overall, it's great! Thanks!

Nice interface. Easy to see what is going on. Low key graphics are clear, yet easy to see. I like that the last traced word stays. The non-invasive ads are appreciated. Improvements: After the game, leave the board so the player can get better skilled at searching. When circling words after lifting the finger, add a color for words that are ok, but have already been played.
