About this app

LuxSense is an elegant digital light meter/lux meter for Android. It lets you view, and record ambient light sensor data. Our innovative application does not need any special permissions to record, and save the sensor data! It has a simple, beautiful interface that is easy to use and work with.

Features:
1) Displays current, minimum, maximum, and average ambient light sensor readings
2) Reports values in lux and foot-candle
3) Ability to record sensor data - no special permissions needed (we recommend saving the recorded data with an application such as Google Drive/Sheets)
4) Detailed specs and information about the light sensor hardware equipped with your device
5) A beautiful and elegant user interface that is easy to use

The title for this app is very misleading. Unless you are a camera geek, you're going to read this as a lumen and lux meter. If you're looking for a device that gives you lumens you will be very disappointed. As evidenced by the several reviews regarding the confusion, the developer needs to change the name of the app. Oh, wait... You claimed you would do this last year but did not. It smells of intentional, obfuscation to try and increase the download count.

This app's name has now been changed to LuxSense (from Lumen) to avoid any confusion. The app's title and description also reflect the same. Thank you again for taking the time to give us your valuable feedback! :)

Doesn't actually display the lumens of the light source, which is stupid because it's even called "lumen", very misleading... Oh, the readings are WILDLY inaccurate as well. Basically, this is just a scam to display ads for a few seconds before you catch on and uninstall it.

They list the item as a lumen meter. It's actually a LUX meter. ... Lumens, measures the amount of light that is emitted by a single light source, and in all directions. Lux , is a measure of how much light falls on a surface, IE a light meter
