About this app

glide is the new way to explore a city - starting from the places you already saved.

If your Instagram Saved folder is full of cafes, bars, weekend trip ideas, and "we should totally go here" spots... but you never actually go: glide fixes that.

Send glide a reel or a post, and it pulls out the actual place - the cafe, the trail, the rooftop bar - and drops a pin on a map of your city, organised by neighbourhood. No manual tagging.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Everything you save, sorted automatically
Open the Places collection and your saves are already grouped by city and country, with everywhere you've liked in its own collection. Nothing to set up, nothing to file. Each one tracks how much of it you've actually covered.

Build your own collections
A weekend, a trip, or just "cafes to try." Each one gets its own map, its own details, and a completion indicator so you can see how much of your plan you've covered. Save a post from Instagram straight into a collection.

The details you'd otherwise dig for yourself
Opening hours, price range, the vibe, and Google ratings and reviews - on the card, before you decide. Everything you need to answer "is this worth going to?" in one place.

Liked, done, and your own notes
Mark a place liked when you want to go and done once you've been. Add notes - who recommended it, what to order. Your saves become a record of the city you've actually covered.

Reminders when you're close
Get a nudge when you're near somewhere you liked, so a place you saved months ago doesn't stay unvisited while you're two streets away.

A map built for deciding
A clean, fast map with dark and light modes, and search that finds what you meant.

1. See a place in a reel or post? Hit share - the same way you'd send it to a friend on WhatsApp - and pick glide. You can drop it straight into a collection while you're there
2. Open your map and see everywhere you've saved, sorted by city and neighbourhood

Planning a weekend? Filter by area and pick from spots you already wanted to try.
Planning a trip? Create a collection for it - and everything you save lands in one map, with a tracker for how much you've done.
Bored on a random evening? Open the map - real spots you saved, not the same top ten everyone gets.

glide doesn't post on your behalf, doesn't need your Instagram password, and only ever touches what YOU send it.
