About this app

AI Object Counter is a camera-first object counter for counting objects from a photo when you need a quick, practical estimate instead of tapping through every item by hand. Take a new camera photo or choose an existing image from your gallery, then let the app detect the main repeated object category and estimate the count. It is built for visible batches of real items: parts on a workbench, craft pieces on a table, small products prepared for packing, ingredients in the kitchen, samples in a tray, coins, beads, screws, hardware, collectibles, produce, materials and other groups of similar objects.

How it works: frame the items clearly, keep the whole batch visible, avoid heavy blur or glare, and run the scan. The result shows an estimated count, a confidence level, a short reasoning summary and point markers on supported images so you can review what the AI considered. Recent scan history is saved on your device, making it easier to revisit earlier counts, compare similar photos, check a result again or share a result image with someone else.

The app is useful for makers, sellers, collectors, kitchen users, workshop users and anyone who often needs to count many small visible things. Use it to get a quick starting number before packing, sorting, checking, preparing a listing, organizing materials or reviewing a batch that would be slow to tally manually. It is also helpful when you already have a photo and want to estimate how many similar items are visible without taking a new picture. For better results, spread objects apart when possible, use a clean background, keep the camera steady, make sure the objects are not hidden behind each other, and crop out unrelated clutter before scanning.

Point markers can help you review the result visually, but the count should still be treated as an AI estimate, not a certified measurement. Object Counter is intentionally simple. It focuses on photo-based object counting, scan review, local recent history, sharing a result image, app language settings and metric or imperial preferences. It is not a warehouse or inventory management system.

There is no SKU database, barcode scanning, stock alert workflow, CSV export or team sync. It is not a social network and does not include public profiles, followers or a feed. It is not a calibrated scale, ruler or measurement device. The AI can miss objects that overlap, are cropped, are too small, blend into the background, reflect light, look very different from each other or appear in a low-quality photo.

Important counts should be checked before you rely on them for packing, selling, production, food preparation or any task where the exact number matters. Use AI Object Counter as a fast visual counting assistant: capture or import a photo, review the estimate, use the markers and confidence to decide whether the result is good enough, and keep your recent scans available for later reference. Practical examples include checking a tray of screws before a repair, reviewing a pile of beads before a craft session, estimating produce in a bowl, counting small parts before packing an order, or checking a photo sent by someone else. You can rescan from a clearer angle when confidence is low, then compare the newer result with your recent history.

The goal is to reduce repetitive manual counting while keeping you in control of the final decision.
