Ratings and reviews

This app will be wonderful for some language learners and terrible for others. It is solid conceptually and they have made continuous improvement on the app's usability. The only problem is that it is incredibly boring. It is just doing sentence reps over and over. That's by design. They're not trying to be a gameified app. I appreciate the focused approach, but I think it is too stripped down and too passive. After I used the app for about six months, I found myself zoning out from boredom.

Not able to get past the first sentence. After subscribing. And tapping learn new items. I'm presented with a phrase in my target language. There is no button on the page that advances me to the next sentence or phrase or vocabulary or whatever you want to call it. Every button I can click on either return me to the previous screen, Show me an IPA pronunciation, or plays a translated version of that phrase in my language. Nothing lets me Mark the rep as finished. I cannot move on.
