A single torch lights the shaft. Carved sandstone blocks come down one at a time, each face cut with a different glyph, and it falls to you to land them flush.
GlyphSlide is a falling-block puzzle set inside a sealed tomb. Slide a block left or right, tap to turn it a quarter turn, swipe down to slam it home. Pack a row edge to edge and it shatters into sand — everything above settles down a step. Seal the chamber's target number of rows before the stack reaches the roof, and the wall opens onto the next chamber.
SIXTY CHAMBERS, EACH ONE TIGHTER
The shaft narrows as you descend, the blocks come faster, and cracked rubble begins to clutter the floor before you have placed a single glyph. Early chambers ask for two clean rows. The deepest ask for twelve, in a shaft you can barely turn a block inside.
THREE STARS OR NOTHING
Every chamber carries a drop budget. Seal it inside the budget for three stars; take your time and you will still open the next chamber, but the record will show it. Stars accumulate on your Record screen alongside your longest chain and your biggest single shatter.
CHARMS FOR THE RUN YOU ARE IN
Motes earned from sealing chambers buy four charms, each with real consequences on the board:
Scribe's Eye marks the strongest resting place for the block currently falling.
Chisel Back lifts the last block you locked and hands it straight back.
Sandblast shatters the lowest row in the shaft outright.
Slow Sands stretches the descent for a long, calm stretch.
RELICS THAT LAST FOREVER
Between descents, spend Motes on four permanent relic tracks, three tiers each. Deep Coffers raises every payout. Ward Seal absorbs a collapse when the shaft tops out. Steady Hand gives you free Chisel Back charges at the start of a run. Sand Glass slows every block in every chamber you ever enter again. Full mastery of all four is a long haul, and it is felt on the board from the first tier.
BUILT TO BE READ
Shape markers give every glyph kind its own silhouette, so the four block types read apart without relying on colour. A landing outline shows exactly where the falling block will come to rest. Calm flashes damps the brightest pulses when a row shatters. All three are toggles, all three persist.
COMPLETELY OFFLINE
No account. No sign-in. No advertising. No in-app purchases. No network code of any kind — the game requests no permissions and works the same in airplane mode as it does anywhere else. Your progress lives in the app's own storage on your device and nowhere else.
A daily boon waits in the atrium every day: fifty to a hundred and fifty Motes, plus a streak that builds as long as you keep coming back. Eight merits track the milestones worth chasing — your first seal, twenty-five rows, a four-row shatter, thirty chambers deep.
Sixty chambers. One shaft. Seal it.
Drop carved glyph blocks down a torchlit tomb shaft and seal the rows.
