About this app

I created a simple food donation app designed to fight hunger and prevent food waste by ensuring surplus food reaches those in need. The app consists of a Home Screen with three buttons: "NGOs," "Find Food," and "Donate Food."

When the "NGOs" button is clicked, it navigates to a screen displaying details of various NGOs and orphanages, including their contact numbers and locations, making it easy to reach out to them.

The "Donate Food" button leads to a screen where donors can enter details such as the type of food, location, quantity, pickup time, contact number, and additional notes. Upon submission, the entered information is stored and displayed on the "Find Food" screen.

From the "Find Food" screen, NGOs and organizations can access the donor details and collect the food to distribute it to the poor and needy. This app aims to create a hunger-free community by preventing food waste and ensuring surplus food is easily and efficiently distributed.
